• To complete our team at the Clinic of Paediatric Surgery and Orthopaedics of the Istituto Pediatrico della Svizzera Italiana (IPSI), seat of Bellinzona, we look for a (a) of the Istituto Pediatrico della Svizzera Italiana we look for a(a) Medico Capoclinica in pediatric orthopedics (100%) Profile: The Pediatric Institute of Italian Switzerland, with its headquarters at the San Giovanni Hospital in Bellinzona, is the hospital center for surgical and orthopedic care of Italian Switzerland and includes treatment in pediatric surgery, orthopaedics and pediatric traumatology throughout the territory with a cover 365 days a year, 24 hours a day.
• The person we seek needs professional experience, spirit of initiative and collaboration.
• He will have to be able to work in a team, have gentle ways with both the team and patients and a high resistance to variability of (ai) workloads.
• It also needs to be able to work in a structured and independent way and to have interest in teaching and research.
• He believes, like us, in the importance of putting the patient and his family at the center of all our attentions.
• The function involves activities in the outpatient and stationary field in the vast field of orthopaedics and pediatric traumatology, participation in teaching and research activities in collaboration with the Faculty of Biomedicine of the University of Italian Switzerland (USI).
• Requirements: The person we seek will have to: Possessing the title of doctor and a specialization title in orthopaedics and traumatology (for foreign titles necessary MEBEKO recognition already obtained before the start of the activity or in progress of obtainment ).
• It will also have to have already entered Medreg, before its beginning, its linguistic knowledge in Italian (minimum level B2) according to the new LPMed provisions in force from 1 January 2018.
