Nurse responsible for Nursing Research

  • Requirements and qualifications: Academic and advanced training SUPSI Bachelor in nursing and/or SSSCI diploma (or equivalent qualification recognized if obtained abroad);

  • The Nursing Management of the Lugano Regional Hospital is looking for a Nurse responsible for Nursing Research (50%) The manager promotes the development of the profession and the quality of nursing care through the advancement of knowledge, innovation, and the planning and management of research projects in his/her professional field.
  • Profile: designs and conducts nursing research studies relevant to their location, collaborating with the nursing manager, clinical teams and/or hospital management
  • collaborates with the manager of the EOC Nursing Research Competence Center and with the research team in the development of transversal projects
  • maintains professional relationships and exchanges with other interprofessional research groups
  • researches and promotes specific funding, participating in grants or using other sources, in compliance with ethical principles
  • promotes the dissemination of research results through various channels: meetings, scientific publications, participation in conferences and organization of local conferences
  • supports clinic colleagues in scientific publication activities and periodically collects data on these activities for the preparation of annual reports
  • promotes and consolidates the culture of nursing research, Evidence Based Practice (EBP) and clinical reasoning in local operating environments, offering consultancy and training to colleagues on these topics
