Their tasks

As a cultural mediator, you are part of the mediation and communication department of KUB, which is responsible in particular for organising cultural events as well as for the continuing education and leadership programme. The department also distinguishes itself as a centre of excellence dedicated to the challenges of the information society and the teaching of information competence.

• Participate in the organisation of the semi-annual programme for cultural and scientific education of the KUB, especially in the German-speaking area
• Contribute to the design and implementation of the exhibitions entrusted to the Department of Mediation and Communication
• Develop and participate in the training and leadership programme
• Write the texts produced by the department in German or translate them into German

Desired profile

• Bachelor’s degree in cultural education or equivalent education
• Several years of profound experience in cultural education for adults
• Ability to fit into a small team, initiative, independence and organizational talent
• Secure appearance at public events and skillfulness in the use of common IT applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, social media, if applicable InDesign or Resolve)
• Perfect command of the German language with good knowledge of the French language (B1-B2)
