Who are we?

EPAC - Vocational craft and commercial school in Bulle provides courses for apprentices in the commercial and craft sector of the region. It operates according to a dual system which allows young people to train in a company while taking courses at vocational school. The Commercial Section also hosts trade professional maturity classes, such as integrated economy, full-time and part-time.

Your missions

Your main activities are the conduct of the Vocational Craft and Commercial School (EPAC) in Bulle subordinated to the Vocational Training Service (SFP). The EPAC provides vocational education for over 1000 apprentices in the areas of commerce, retail, pharmacy and crafts.

• You are responsible for the management of approximately 110 employees
• You prepare budgets and financial plans
• You take part with the management of the SFP and the other vocational schools of the canton in strategic reflections and works and ensure their application
• You represent the canton in national or inter-cantonal conferences.

Profile desired

• You have a master's degree from a high school with a teaching diploma for secondary level II or with a DAS in management or diplomas and experience deemed equivalent
• You know the Swiss education system and especially vocational training
• You have a driving experience in which you have been able to demonstrate leadership
• You set priorities for your activities and work cross-cuttingly
• You are oriented towards the objectives, show responsibility and respect for your employees and ensure that your decisions are implemented
• You communicate in an open manner, create a working climate of trust and seek constructive solutions to conflicts
• You put in place effective processes, appropriate structures and influence the organization's culture through efficient management of a quality system
• You speak French and are also comfortable in the German language
