With their work in the five social centres, the social services ensure that people in the city of Zurich can count on effective basic social care.

For our experienced team at the Dorflinde Social Centre we are looking for a committed personality as of January 2027 or by agreement.

Tasks

• They advise and accompany adult clients and families on financial and social issues and develop sustainable perspectives together with them.
• They carry out cases in economic social assistance and/or assume civil mandates in child protection.
• They clarify complex life situations, make professional assessments and coordinate cooperation with internal and external bodies.
• You design your cases independently and take responsibility for a professional and comprehensible case management.
• You work closely with administrators, specialist departments and your team and benefit from the mutual professional exchange.

Profile

• University of Applied Sciences degree in social work
• professional experience in child protection and/or statutory social work; corresponding further developments are advantageous
• Rapid comprehension and the ability to professionally assess complex situations
• Sovereign appearance and clarity also in demanding conversations
• Professional interaction with different interests and the ability to build sustainable relationships even in conflicts
