Main responsibilities

  • Overall responsibility for the operation, governance and continuous development of global network services (WAN, SD-WAN, LAN, WLAN, firewalls and perimeter security)
  • Professional and disciplinary management as well as further development of a global network team and external service providers
  • Ensuring highly available, secure and efficient network operations in a 24/7 environment
  • Control and monitoring of external service providers including SLA, KPI, contract and cost management
  • Responsibility for incident, problem, change and service management processes according to ITIL best practices
  • Working closely with cyber security, architecture and infrastructure teams to implement security and compliance requirements
  • Co-shaping the global network strategy and implementing modernization initiatives such as SD-WAN, cloud connectivity and network automation
