To further expand our architectural and consulting expertise, we are looking for a strong, entrepreneurial and technically-savvy personality as a leader: in Solution Architecture. In this key role, you will take over the professional and personnel leadership of a team of 5 Solution Architects:innen. Together with your team, you will design future-proof IT architectures, cloud and outsourcing solutions and technical concepts for our customers in the public sector – especially for the federal government, cantons, municipalities and other public sector institutions. As a member of the Extended Sales Board, you actively bring the perspective of solution architecture to strategic, operational and business-relevant discussions. You combine technical excellence with leadership, customer orientation and entrepreneurial thinking. Your role

• Personnel and professional management of 5 Solution Architects: including coaching, development, prioritization and resource management
• Further development of solution architecture competencies within consulting services – both methodologically, technologically and in terms of supply and customer situations
• Design (IT architectures, IT standards and technical concepts for offers) of on-premise & cloud solutions (private, hybrid and public cloud from Microsoft, AWS or Google)
• Processing of public tenders and offers (technical lead, design and development of the technical solution, pricing, presentation of the solution to our customers)
• Collaboration in the design of new IT solutions and future services
• Advising and supporting our customers in their IT projects, architecture issues and strategic technology decisions
• Development of concepts of complex IT platforms in cooperation with our engineers and external partners
• Identify and introduce new innovations, technologies and tools that drive business success
• Active participation in the Extended Sales Board with focus on strategic offerability, innovation potential and further development

Your profile

• Completed degree in computer science or business informatics (FH/Uni/ETH) or equivalent education
• Several years of experience in team management, professional management or development of architectural, consulting or technical expert teams
• Several years of professional experience in IT architecture, ideally in the development of complex IT systems
• In-depth knowledge of cloud technologies (e.g. Azure/Microsoft 365, Google, AWS) and their architecture principles
• Strong communication and moderation skills to convey complex technical content in a comprehensible way, as well as analytical thinking, problem-solving skills and high quality standards
• Very good communication and presentation skills in German (C1 level) and good English skills
• Certifications in the area of public cloud or IT architectures (e.g. Azure Solutions Architect Expert / Enterprise Administrator Expert) or Togaf round off your profile.
