Do you enjoy actively shaping complex financial processes and ensuring that exceptional situations are also solved efficiently? The Settlement Special Services team ensures centralised securities processing services at SIX SIS. In the area of exception handling, we are responsible for monitoring and processing all non-STP-Swift messages as well as various control reports. By proactively controlling our processes and risks, we ensure reliable operation and a high level of service.
To strengthen our team, we are looking for a specialist in Settlement who has a desire for varied tasks, responsibility and a dynamic environment. We offer you an exciting, versatile position with up to 40% home office. You spend at least three working days per week in the office – either in Zurich or Olten. A joint team day per week takes place in Olten.
These are your tasks
- Coordination and communication with internal and external interfaces, including network management, custodian offices in different countries, ICSDs, CSDs, client relationship managers, corporate actions, valor master data and reconciliation
- Timely processing of non-STP Swift messages (MT54x) from over 50 countries
- Investigation and correction of reconciliation breaks
- Continuous optimization of processing processes as well as maintenance and further development
You bring that with you
- Basic commercial training completed; ideally with banking or comparable qualification
- In-depth expertise in the field of securities, as well as practical experience in day-to-day business; several years of experience in the settlement is desirable
- Team-oriented, committed personality with strong initiative and clear, addressee-oriented communication skills
- Analytical and structured working method, fast comprehension as well as high reliability and a strong sense of responsibility
- Very good knowledge of German and English in word and writing
