- Diabetes specialist advice and training for our inpatients, patients and their dependants on the spot, as well as in the context of online training.
- Support in the implementation of the measures and in the use of diabetes-specific aids and glucose systems.
Main responsibilities
- Diabetes specialist advice and training for our inpatients, patients and their dependants on the spot, as well as in the context of online training.
- Support in the implementation of the measures and in the use of diabetes-specific aids and glucose systems.
- Promote self-management and health skills in experiencing and integrating chronic illness into everyday life.
- Conducting consultations and training on prevention and early detection of sequelae in diabetes mellitus
- Support of interprof-essional treatment according to rehab understanding of the Valens hospital group Requirements:
- Graduated as a qualified nursing specialist HF/FH with further training for specialist expert/in diabetes specialist consulting with an Eidgenössisches Diplom (HFP), or willingness to complete these
- Multi-annual work experience in the health care sector in Switzerland, preferably also in rehabilitation
- Responsibility, independence, flexibility, resilience and experience in administrative work
- Empathic attitude and a high service orientation
