These tasks inspire you
- You will be responsible for daily transport, deployment and route planning as well as personnel and vehicle scheduling
- Ensuring optimal utilization and on-time delivery
- Continuous optimization of processes, structures and interfaces in cooperation with adjacent departments
- Jointly responsible for operational decisions, escalation management and management of around 45 employees
- Participation in projects, especially the new TMS/WMS landscape
- If necessary, assumption and responsibility for day-to-day operations

- Several years of professional experience in scheduling and an advantage Initial experience in a management position
- Further training in the field of transport and logistics, ideally with a federal degree
- Sound knowledge of scheduling and transport control
- Strong leadership and social skills as well as a solution-oriented, positive attitude
- High IT affinity and willingness to invest in digitalization
- Willingness to work in shifts (05:00–14:00 / 13:30–22:00) in the event of holiday absences and staff shortages and to perform Sunday duty once a month
