Industrialization intern (M/F/X)
Post based in Buttes, for a period of 6 months, from February 2027
Attached to the Industrialization Group Leader, you will integrate a dynamic team to support Project Managers in the reliability and optimization of our processes.
At the heart of the continuous improvement of our industrial tool, you will help standardize our practices. Your main mission will be to analyse the industrialization of the gear components, and then to develop and formalize the industrialisation standards and associated trade standards. By documenting and structuring these methods, you will directly contribute to reducing industrialisation times, reducing the risk of error and supporting production workshops in implementing their progress plans.
HOW DO YOU HAVE AN IMPACT?
In direct collaboration with the industrialization team, under the responsibility of your trainee master, your missions will be as follows:
- Conduct a comprehensive analysis of the industrialization of the working components, mapping the processes of industrialization and looking for the root causes of the hazards encountered, in direct collaboration with project managers and industrialization technicians.
- Pilot an ambitious improvement action plan, integrating concrete solutions to optimize the fluidity of operations, reduce transit times and make our industrializations reliable.
- Design standardized tools under CAD 3D to build a unified technical library and streamline the reference catalogue.
- Create manufacturing standards by component family, including formalizing standard definition plans and programming rules, and then updating associated business standards.
- Deploy deliverables and measure the impact of new standards using accurate indicators, including time savings in industrialisation and a decrease in error rates.
HOW ARE YOU GONNA USE US?
- You are a student in an engineering school with a dominant watchmaking, mechanical or microtechnic.
- You are an autonomous, proactive, organized and rigorous person with strong analytical, synthesis and communication skills.
- You have a strong field orientation and skills for project management.
- You master CAD software (CREO is a plus).
- You ideally have a good command of PLM and ERP software (including Windchill).
- Your knowledge of Lean Manufacturing tools is an additional asset.
WHAT DISTINGUES OUR GROUP?
Our true strength lies not in our similarities, but in the rich diversity of our arts, cultures and human skills, as well as in our specific ability to encourage untapped potentials.
- We value freedom, collegiality, loyalty and solidarity.
- We encourage empathy, curiosity, courage, humility and integrity.
- We take care of the world we live in.
YOUR TRAVEL WITH US
We propose you to evolve in a stimulating working environment, combining the historical legacy of luxury watchmaking know-how with advanced industry 4.0 technologies.
You will benefit from in-depth training throughout your internship (business & project management), as well as personalized support to achieve your professional goals.
We are convinced that autonomy is a key element of professional success
- This is why we offer a framework that will allow you to exercise real responsibilities in your missions.
We look forward to receiving your full application on our career website. If you match the profile you will have an initial telephone contact with our HR team to agree on an interview.

Questions about this listing
What salary does ValFleurier offer for this role?
The original listing does not state a salary. Our estimate for this role and sector in Genève is CHF 51'100 - 77'500 gross per year — an estimate, not a figure communicated by ValFleurier. The calculator on this site converts a gross salary into your actual net take-home once cross-border tax and social contributions are applied.
Is this a full-time role, and what type of contract does ValFleurier offer?
This listing is a full-time position. The contract type shown here comes directly from the employer's original posting; always confirm exact hours, notice period and probation length with ValFleurier during the application process, since these details can vary by role even within the same contract category.
Do I need a cross-border work permit for a role in Geneva?
EU/EFTA citizens living in an EU/EFTA state can apply for a G permit and can work anywhere in Switzerland: border zones no longer apply to them, and they must return home at least once a week. The Swiss employer files the request with Canton Geneva's migration office after the contract is signed. Processing times vary by canton, so confirm the specifics with Geneva's cantonal migration office or with HR during the application.
