- Implement Spring Boot REST APIs and Angular Frontend.
- Participate in the whole software development lifecycle (requirements, design, development, testing), following a modern agile approach to ensure high-quality outcomes.
- Interact with the end-users of the services to understand their needs and help translate those into appropriate software solutions.
- Build strong partnerships with IT and multidisciplinary teams across CERN to ensure the delivery of reliable, maintainable, and scalable software solutions aligned with current needs and future strategic goals.

Application process
- Write automated tests and apply software quality practices.
- Drive the modernisation of CERN's Geodetic Metrology data management system, migrating legacy Oracle APEX/PL/SQL applications to a Java/Spring Boot and Angular platform, while leading the redesign of a mission-critical application for CERN's Accelerator Complex.
- Proven experience in designing and developing software applications using Java technologies and modern JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks.
- Practical experience with concurrent and multithreaded programming.
- Experience applying software quality assurance practices and using related tools (code review, preparing tests, deliver high quality documentation, unit tests, clean code, sonarqube).
- Experience in ICT systems architecture and design, including the design of scalable services and APIs.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated build, test, and deployment workflows.
- Experience with cloud-native technologies, including Kubernetes.
