The First Survey and Renewal Appeal Board (PRRC) deals with appeals against decisions on claims made by a surveyor engineer following the public inquiry procedure carried out in the first survey and renewal companies, as well as with corrections of contradictions. It shall act as the final cantonal authority and shall act under the supervision of the Council of the Judiciary. Its composition guarantees qualified consideration of both the rights and obligations of affected persons and the specific aspects of measurement.
- Lawyer's patent, license or master's degree in law
- Experience in real rights and/or land rights would be an advantage
- Interested persons must be sufficiently available
- Citizenship active on the cantonal level. Persons of foreign nationality must hold an establishment permit and have been domiciled in the canton for at least five years. Candidates must not be the subject of an act of lack of property, not have been criminally convicted for acts incompatible with the function
- Mastering the French or German language with good knowledge of the other language
