The Jugendamt (YES) is committed to the children and young people of the canton of Freiburg. It is the cantonal specialist for the implementation of child and youth policy and the protection of minors.

We are looking for an employee for a fixed-term contract with a term of three years for the family supplementary care (SMA) sector. The SMA is the supervisory authority for the family-supplemented day care facilities and responsible for their clarification, approval, supervision and advice. Their tasks

• Clarification, approval and supervision of family-supplementary day care facilities in accordance with the provisions of the Federal Ordinance on the admission of foster children
• Information and advice for family-supplementary day-care facilities

Desired profile

• Master or Bachelor in Social Work or Education Recognised as Equivalent
• Professional experience and/or in-depth knowledge of supplementary family day care facilities
• Interest in the areas of child protection
• Ability to analyze complex situations
• Sense of organization, high resilience, teamwork ability
• Good editorial skills
• Driving licence required
• Perfect command of the German language in word and writing as well as very good knowledge of the French language
