Who are we?

The Civil Status and Naturalization Service SENa is responsible for performing the legal tasks of civil status and naturalization. It deals with, inter alia, marriage applications, changes in surname or first name, adoption processes, declarations of recognition and naturalization requests. Its essential tasks in the field of naturalization are to establish naturalization files for the municipal, cantonal and federal authorities and to carry out all the relevant investigation measures.

Your missions

The naturalization investigator is responsible for examining applications for naturalization and verifying that legal requirements are met. Its tasks include:

• Analysis of naturalization files
• Monitoring of living conditions and integration
• Conduct of interviews with candidates
• Preparation of survey reports
• Collaboration and support to the various municipal, cantonal and federal authorities

Profile desired

• Tertiary level training (CFC patent trade, CAS, HES) in administrative or equivalent training

• Interest in integration issues as well as in the specifics of the canton of Fribourg and Switzerland

• Ability to conduct interviews
• Sense of listening, communication and organization
• Good analytical and writing skills
• Be of Swiss nationality
• Excellent command of the German language with very good knowledge of the French language (written and oral)
