You can make this contribution

• Manage and organise the operation of defence and logistics infrastructures and manage subordinate staff

• Planning and ensuring the provision, operation and maintenance of the infrastructure and ensuring coordination with the force, users and partners

• Manage operational and maintenance services, use of resources and expenditure, ensuring their effectiveness and efficiency

• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and with regard to the protection of persons, safety at work and the environment

• Actively participate in construction, conversion and liquidation projects, represent the interests of the operator and ensure coordination with the various stakeholders

• technical or craft vocational training, ideally supplemented by higher education (university or equivalent); Federal certificate as maintenance specialist or equivalent training

• Demonstrated experience in the operation and maintenance of infrastructures and in managing staff

• Strong leadership skills, organizational and responsibility awareness, goal and result orientation as well as good communication, cooperation and conflict management skills

• Good knowledge of process and project management, experienced handling of common computer science applications and SAP as well as good knowledge of a second official language

• Military training as an officer or higher non-commissioned officer is advantageous
