Who are we?

The Buildings Service develops the major new construction or renovation projects by promoting the architectural competitions and intended for the activities of the state of Fribourg: Training, Justice and Police, Social Domain, Administration, Research Laboratories, Logistics are some of the areas in which we pilot the state projects. For an exceptional project in the Canton, we are looking for a leader of major projects ready to meet an ambitious challenge, combining logistical complexity and multi-stakeholder management.

Your missions

• You represent the Public Contractor by piloting one of the largest projects in the Canton of Fribourg, over CHF 100 million
• You are the boss of the company "project" in all its dimensions: economic, planning, architectural program, and risks & opportunities
• Your mission is to carry out this business, i.e. to deliver a building to an urban, complex site, for a demanding user, and in an exemplary context with respect to the preceding elements; you collaborate with all stakeholders, whether internal to the state, external or private
• Your role is to coordinate studies and implementation in accordance with the development of a large project subject to public procurement: financial mastery, architectural ambitions, compliance with directives, particularly on sustainability, direction and motivation of internal teams and agents are familiar tasks for you
• You are a leadership, challenge-driven personality, comfortable in multifactorial projects, with leadership and excellent communication skills.
• Within the framework of your autonomy, you know how to keep your superiors informed by anticipating the topics to be raised

Profile desired

• Master's degree in architecture or civil engineering or equivalent training ideally complemented by a CAS in construction project management
• You have several years of professional experience in conducting complex real estate projects
• You are familiar with matrix organizations and show ease in human relations
• You master the French or German language with good knowledge of the other language
