Who are we?

The cantonal court is the highest authority in civil, criminal and administrative matters. In principle, it rules on appeals and appeals against a judgment of a Court of First Instance and on actions and appeals against decisions of administrative authorities. In this capacity, it assumes a dual role as a judicial authority and a delegated oversight of the administration of justice.
