The Freiburg Red Cross (SRC) is a cantonal association founded in 1909 and a member of the Swiss Red Cross. Our association employs around 160 people, is supported by 500 volunteers and is active in the fields of health, migration and social affairs. We are particularly committed to all people in need, while respecting the principles of the Red Cross. We are looking for one-e ladder-in area home support (member of the management) They are responsible for managing all home care and care services for senior citizens and for supporting families. This area of responsibility includes in particular the Red Cross driving service, home visits, the Red Cross emergency call, relief for relatives, supervised meals and the emergency care of sick children by the Red Riding Hood service. In this role, you rely on a team of around ten specialized, motivated and experienced employees. This team is complemented by around 30 external employees who work in the relief service for relatives and the Red Riding Hood service for child care at home in emergencies. Of the approximately 500 volunteers engaged in the institution, about 200 are involved in the activities of your field. As a member of the management team, you contribute to the operational decisions of the institution and are responsible for these to the affected employees, volunteers and partners. Main tasks :

• To conduct the activities in accordance with the objectives and specifications of the institution
• Management and administration of the service in the areas (organisation, finance, team management)
• Promotion and further development of the activities towards the public, the authorities and other partners
• Establishment, maintenance and development of a network of private and institutional partners within the framework of the various activities in the area of care and support at home
• Administration and further development of the cantonal and national mandates in compliance with the established
• requirements. Profile sought:
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in social affairs, management or an education recognised as equivalent
• Proven experience in the operational management of a comparable activity
• Strong sense of team and responsibility
• Mother tongue French or German with very good knowledge of the other language
• Mastery of common IT and administrative tools
• Natural leadership skills and several years of experience in the management of a multidisciplinary team
• Social competence as well as a sovereign communication with colleagues and external partners. Job opening
