- Preparation of condition analyses of archaeological objects as well as defining and documenting suitable conservation and restoration measures
- carrying out conservation and restoration work, in particular on inorganic materials, while respecting the integrity of the objects and taking into account traceability, sustainability and heritage conservation
- Writing of treatment reports and scientific articles
- Packaging of archaeological objects and ensuring their conservation and helping to monitor the state of archaeological collections
- Archiving the created documents and their integration into the information systems
- Contribution to knowledge transfer through training of trainees and staff in proven methods of conservation and restoration as well as participation in cultural heritage transfer through guided tours for groups
