Who are we?

Human medicine studies at the University of Freiburg train students both theoretically and clinically and are offered in bilingual – in German and French. Of the three years of study, about 400 students are trained each year at the bachelor level and 120 at the master level. The studies prepare for the Federal Human Medicine Review and build on the National Competency Framework PROFILE.

The scientific assistant is integrated into the Med-Office of the Medicine Section and works for both fields. He or she works under the responsibility of the chairmen of the Bachelor's and Master's Studies Commissions in Human Medicine and in close collaboration with the coordinators of both fields.

Your missions

• Development of curriculum reporting (student numbers, stolen, success rates, etc.) and mapping (PROFILES)
• Planning, synthesis and monitoring of teaching evaluations for the Bachelor and Master's degree
• Organization of teaching certificates (Bachelor and Master)
• Participation in Bachelor and Master's Studies Commissions
• Updating of regulations and directives as well as contact with admission services of both channels
• Participation in curriculum projects in both fields, in particular the ongoing Bachelor's reform

Profile desired

• Master's degree (preferably in medical or health sciences; or in education, social sciences or related fields)
• Project management experience; familiarity with directives and orders
• Self-employment, rigorous and structured, as well as strong organizational and communication skills
• Mastery of the MS Office suite; knowledge of institutional platforms (Moodle, SharePoint) an asset
• Strong sense of service and quality, as well as pleasure in working with many stakeholders (students, teachers, study boards, admission services) and in a bilingual environment
• Experience in academia or medical training an asset
• Very good oral and written knowledge of French and German, knowledge in English an asset
