The Psychotherapeutic Practice Centre (PTPS) of the Department of Psychology of the University of Freiburg is looking for a committed personality for co-direction (20%). The management is performed in the co-management model together with a second person and can be combined with a clinical activity as a psychotherapist at the PTPS (30–50 %). The overall level of employment is thus 50-70 %. In a university, interdisciplinary environment, you can expect a versatile activity with high professional quality and development opportunities.

Their tasks

Management & Organization

• Co-responsibility for the operational and strategic management of PTPS together with the co-management
• Ensure smooth operation and further development of the organisational unit
• Management, promotion and development of employees

Professional management & training

• Training and accompaniment of psychotherapists: women in further education
• Professional responsibility for psychodiagnostics and reporting
• Examination of the electronic patient dossiers conducted by the psychotherapists (Medi Online)
• Accompaniment and supervision of the interns within the framework of compulsory internships in psychology

Quality and Administration

• Ensuring compliance with quality standards and legal requirements
• Monitoring of correct accounting processes
• Organisation and coordination of training and planning of purchases (e.g. test material, infrastructure)

Development and networking

• Expansion of evidence-based treatment services
• Establishment and maintenance of clinical and scientific networks

Research and teaching

• Implementation and monitoring of research projects of the Department of Clinical Psychology and Psychotherapy
• Optional: Co-supervision of qualification work

Desired profile

• Completed study of psychology (Master) as well as a completed, federally recognized further education in psychotherapy with a focus on cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) for adults
• Several years of professional experience in the clinical field
• Leadership experience or willingness to assume leadership responsibility
• Experience in supervision, training or guidance of employees is beneficial
• Strong team and communication skills
• Interested in shaping the further development of the area in the co-leading team
• Structured and independent working methods
• Very good knowledge of German
• Knowledge of French and/or English is advantageous
