Who are we?

The Friburg detention facility brings together the prison structures of the canton of Fribourg. It has a public law status and legal personality. It is administratively attached to the Directorate of Security, Justice and Sport, under the high supervision of the Council of State. The institution shall ensure the custody, accommodation, care and treatment of prisoners entrusted to it and shall contribute to the achievement of the objectives assigned to the execution of custodial sentences and measures.

Your missions

• Management and management of the workshop and construction division as a member of the management of a large administrative unit
• Management and coordination of the sections Workshops, Craftsmen, Kitchen and the Planning and Property Management department
• Planning, coordination and monitoring of EDFR infrastructure construction, transformation, maintenance and development projects
• Strategic and operational management of the EDFR housing stock, including planning, maintenance, development and financial management
• Management and development of the professional activities offered to detained persons, with a view to resocialization and vocational reintegration, in line with the plan of execution of the sanction
• Development, planning and coordination of workshop and construction strategies, concepts, guidelines and projects

Profile desired

• Tertiary training in construction or project management
• Continuing training in construction and/or project management
• Federal degree in management of deprivation of liberty from CSCSP, an asset
• Several years of driving experience
• Experience in leadership, project management and strategy development
• Mastery of computer tools useful to the function
• Very good organizational and analytical capacity, strategic sense and decision-making capacity
• Self-reliant, committed, pragmatic and with good coping and stress resistance
• Ability to work in networks, sense of communication and ability to unite teams
• Very good knowledge of the French language and good knowledge of German
