Attached to the Directorate of Security, Justice and Sport, the cantonal police in Freiburg are responsible for ensuring public security, law enforcement and law enforcement. • Define and ensure, within the framework of your competencies, the operational and organisational conduct of the gendarmerie corps
• Supervising and directing your staff, coordinating and prioritizing the objectives and efforts of subordinate units
• Promoting a culture of trust, responsibility and subsidiarity within the gendarmerie
• Take all measures and decisions to ensure the fulfilment of the task entrusted by the Law on the cantonal police and legislation
• Cooperate with the security police and cantonal police divisions and the various partner services
• Representing the cantonal police in different cantonal, national or international working groups
• Establish the body budget and propose the acquisition of new technical means
• Maintaining the knowledge of tactical collaborators
• As a representative of the General Staff, provide permanent services as a cantonal police officer Profile desired
• You are the holder of the federal certificate of police and/or a certificate issued by a high school with the CAS CEP training provided by the Swiss Police Institute and/or are a graduate of a university, a high school or you have completed an equivalent training
• You are a Swiss national
• You have proven managerial, social and organisational skills as well as experience in project management and management
• You are recognized for your ability to empower your collaborators, foster leadership and build confidence
• You have a minimum experience of 5 years as an officer
• You have a strong interest in safe areas
• You have high availability, stress resistance and autonomy in your work
