The Mobiliar Centre for Resilience deals with questions about Switzerland’s future viability. In doing so, the centre carries out inter- and transdisciplinary research projects that enable practice-oriented solutions to strengthen resilience. It bundles the competences of researchers from various disciplines.

The senior assistant is affiliated as an integrative coordinator and actively cooperates with all participating departments and faculties of the University of Freiburg as well as with the Mobiliar.

Their tasks

The Mobiliar Center for Resilience of the University of Freiburg is offering a position as senior assistant for integration and implementation research on 1 January 2027 for a period of 2 years with an option of extension.

The senior assistant supports the management administratively and builds a bridge to the practice as research coordinator. He or she:

• Coordinates the centre’s interdisciplinary research and, as a “point of contact”, manages the interface to the furniture
• Designes integration and implementation approaches for resilience research and its sustainable use
• Designed for inter- and transdisciplinary teaching and research innovative "Citizen Science" and "Outreach" activities

Desired profile

• Doctorate in Business/Informatics or related discipline
• Knowledge of "Resilience and Information Systems Engineering"
• Experience with integration and implementation research
• Experience working with companies
• Linguistic orders: English, German and French
