Their tasks

It is a one-year contract that can be extended.

• The activity shall include, in particular, participation in research projects and scientific publications as well as in the preparation of courses.
• The research focus of the chair is on European law, international law and public law (e.g. European and international environmental law, European and Swiss data protection law, bilateral relations between Switzerland and the EU, etc.).
• Half the working time is reserved for drafting a dissertation
• As part of your work, you can also gain initial teaching experience if you are interested.

Desired profile

• Master in Law, preferably MLaw of a Swiss university, or equivalent degree (on entering the job)
• Interest in European law or international law
• German-speaking with good knowledge of French
• Good English skills are beneficial
