Appointing authority / administrative unit / institution

The Peace Court is primarily the child and adult protection authority. It shall act on request or on its own initiative. Upon completion of the procedure, a decision shall be taken as to whether to impose a measure. The peacekeeper also has competences in inheritance law as well as in the area of judicial prohibitions of entry.

Their tasks

• Maintain the judge’s agenda and make appointments, contacts with field offices, including to obtain or forward information, make appointments, support the court clergy
• Minutes at court hearings, independently and dictated by the judge
• General correspondence, subpoenas, opening and keeping of files (physical and digital files)
• Opening of court orders
• Telephone and general information
• Achivation of court records

Desired profile

• Federal certificate of competence as a commercial employee or with experience in this field
• Professional experience of several years
• Flexibility, responsibility, discretion
• Excellent computer and office knowledge (MS-Office)
• Pleasant manners and teamwork
• Load capacity
• Mastering the French or German language with very good knowledge of the other language (min B2)
