Role overview
Introduction
For our Quality & Sustainability Department, we are looking for a Trainee whose main task will be to have a clear and consolidated view of the special waste generated by the company by securing the classification of waste according to the OMoD codes (Order on the movement of waste).
The internship is offered for a duration of 6 months at 80-100%, from February 2027 or to be agreed.

- For our Quality & Sustainability Department, we are looking for a Trainee whose main task will be to have a clear and consolidated view of the special waste generated by the company by securing the classification of waste according to the OMoD codes (Order on the movement of waste).
Application process
- Identify the physico-chemical characteristics of the waste concerned on the basis of safety data sheets and production applications Update OMoD codes in SAP database
- Develop a decision tree to identify OMoD code for special waste in general
- Compare treatment solutions according to different criteria: compliance, safety, environmental impact, costs and traceability
- Contribute to the improvement of procedures for sorting, storage, labelling and disposal of special waste
- Prepare a final synthesis with recommendations Profile
- Currently in Bachelor's degree in chemistry, applied chemistry, chemical engineering, environment or deemed equivalent Interest in environmental regulation
- Knowledge of Swiss waste regulation, particularly the OMoD, is an asset
- Ability to read and interpret safety data sheets
