• Support the army leadership in controlling long-term development and military strategic situation tracking
• Develop strategic foundations and decision documents for the further development of the Defense Group, especially in the areas of corporate development and strategic transformation
• Analyze data and findings from strategy controlling and risk management and convert them into action-relevant recommendations
• Coordinate and lead interdisciplinary working groups with experienced experts and stakeholders at official level
• Support and advise department directors and department heads in the development, coordination and implementation of their sub- and specialist strategies
• University or university degree or equivalent training
• Strong analytical and conceptual skills as well as networked and strategic thinking
• Experience in strategy work along the entire strategy cycle - from analysis and planning to alignment to implementation and controlling
• Ability to effectively navigate complex stakeholder landscapes with sometimes diverging interests
• Knowledge of federal internal processes and structures or training as a general staff or staff officer is an advantage
• Very good active knowledge of at least a second official language (B2) and English at least B2
