Portrait The Gymnasium Neufeld is a state school of the Canton of Bern with around 1,850 students, pupils, 220 teachers and 50 employees. The school provides clear and high
- Requirements for teachers and learners and attaches importance to comprehensive advice and support. The three gymnasial departments (Department of Humanities and Humanities, Department of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Department of Economics and Law) are organized along the main subjects and lead to a gymnasial Matura. Training in the fourth department, the Bernese Maturity School for Adults, leads to a high school maturity degree or passerellen examination. The fifth department, the Cantonal School of Applied Sciences, offers a three-year training course with a cantonal secondary school or graduate degree.
Tasks
As head: in the Department of Economics and Law, 60-70% (excluding teaching), you are responsible for the educational and administrative management of this department. In doing so, you will organize, promote and develop teaching in cooperation with the College in accordance with the objectives and quality requirements of our school and the canton. Together with the overall management and the other department heads, they are part of the school management of the Gymnasium Neufeld. In addition to school management, we expect you to teach a small amount of work.
Requirements
For this challenging task, we are looking for a committed personality with management or project management experience, with completed specialist training as a high school teacher: in and several years of teaching experience at a middle school. They are skilled at negotiation and strong at implementation
