Main responsibilities
- Initial medical assessment and treatment of patients with acute orthopaedic and traumatological conditions
- Documentation of treatments and ensuring high quality at all times
- Interprofessional cooperation with the specialized care team and other specialist departments (orthopedics, radiology, etc.) to provide the best possible patient care
- Supervision and development support of students and assistant doctors
- Participation in the further development of clinical processes and quality standards in the field such as the establishment of a fast track at Balgrist
- Deputy Medical Director of the Specialist Emergency in Specialist and Leadership Matters Requirements
- Interdisciplinary focus on clinical emergency medicine SGNOR
- Specialist title FMH orthopaedic surgery and traumatology of the musculoskeletal system, general internal medicine or surgery
