- Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality scientific data for modern regulated and non-regulated toxicology in vitro assays to inform risk assessment across discovery and development projects.
- & Competencies:
- An apprenticeship as a biology laboratory technician, or a B.Sc. / M.Sc. degree in cell biology, biotechnology, biomedical engineering, pharmacology, toxicology, or a related scientific discipline.
Main responsibilities
- Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality scientific data for modern regulated and non-regulated toxicology in vitro assays to inform risk assessment across discovery and development projects.
- Support the development, implementation, and data analysis of novel predictive in vitro safety models.
- Conduct precise data analysis, manage internal reporting within the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS), and present key findings to internal stakeholders.
- Optimize laboratory processes continuously to increase quality, efficiency, and safety standards.
- Engage proactively with cross-functional matrix teams within Pharmaceutical Sciences to align on project milestones and prioritize laboratory schedules.
- Establish and maintain professional relationships with external vendors and technology providers to assess and onboard next-generation laboratory technologies. Who You Are

Key requirements
- & Competencies:
- An apprenticeship as a biology laboratory technician, or a B.Sc. / M.Sc. degree in cell biology, biotechnology, biomedical engineering, pharmacology, toxicology, or a related scientific discipline.
- A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience operating within a Biosafety Level 2 (BSL2) cell culture laboratory with handling of primary cells and/or iPSCs.
- Demonstrated expertise in mammalian cell culture techniques, including experience with complex in vitro models, organoids or organs-on-a-chip systems.
