- Define the production schedule for semi-finished and finished products with the objective of meeting demand and optimizing costs and inventory levels.
- Verify with the purchasing department the availability of raw materials and components necessary to ensure the feasibility of the plan.
Main responsibilities
- Define the production schedule for semi-finished and finished products with the objective of meeting demand and optimizing costs and inventory levels.
- Verify with the purchasing department the availability of raw materials and components necessary to ensure the feasibility of the plan.
- Monitor the production schedule in the short, medium and long term, adapting it to variations in forecasted demand, production capacity and company production strategy.
- Translate recipes into production bills of materials, set or define production cycles and the management and launch logic of the MRP.
- Monitor work orders and analyze any deviations from the expected standards, proposing and implementing improvement actions.
- Manage safety stock levels and monitor the rotation of materials.
- Assess risks related to possible inefficiencies in production flows and develop efficiency improvement strategies. Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Management Engineering or equivalent qualification.
- Previous experience of at least 3 years in production planning and demand planning.
- Excellent knowledge of IT systems, with particular reference to SAP (planning and forecasting modules)
