Clinic for Forensic Psychiatry (KFP)

For the Center Forensic Psychiatry Stationary (ZFPS) we are looking for you as The Psychiatric Services Aargau AG (PDAG) is responsible for the high-quality medical, therapeutic and nursing treatment and care of mentally ill people in the Canton of Aargau. Over the area

The Clinic for Forensic Psychiatry (KFP) consists of the expert opinion centre, the Center for Forensic Psychiatry Stationary (ZFPS) and the Center for Forensic Psychiatry Outpatient (ZFPA). The expert body produces a large number of expert opinions for administrative contracting authorities every year. The ZFPS comprises six wards with a total of 74 beds, on which mentally ill offenders are treated within the framework of court-ordered therapeutic measures (Art. 59 StGB) as well as crisis interventions are carried out on patients from prisons and investigation prisons. The ZFPA runs a forensic ambulatory and offers a prison psychiatric consiliary and liaison service.

Tasks

• You work on one of our medium/low safety stations in group setting
• They treat and care for patients from the prison system for the measure
• They support and promote the social skills and abilities of patients in the milieutherapeutic setting within the framework of caregiver work.
• They are part of the interdisciplinary treatment team and participate in the treatment planning, the daily structuring and the design of the life environment.
• They work both rehabilitatively and preventively to avoid future crimes
• They maintain contact with relatives and offices
• You are jointly responsible for the training of learners within the framework of the training assignment

Profile

• You have completed training as a Dipl. Nurse HF/FH and preferably bring professional experience in psychiatry
• For foreign diplomas, SRC recognition is mandatory
• Your attitude towards delinquents is appreciative and risk-aware
• You enjoy working in an interdisciplinary team
• They have exceptionally high social skills
• They have strong communication skills
• They are characterized by a very high self-reflection and critical ability
• You work in the three shift system
