Junior Business & Application Support — Swissquote

After an initial training period covering our banking and trading platforms, Oracle databases, internal Python-based tools, and financial products, you will join our Application & Business Support team and play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of Swissquote's production systems. Your mission will be to investigate complex business and technical issues, support critical banking and trading operations, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our internal processes and tools.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and resolve complex incidents impacting our banking, trading and forex platforms.

• Act as a primary point of contact for internal departments requiring technical and business support.

• Perform root cause analysis on production issues and coordinate with development teams when escalations are required.

• Analyze large datasets and conduct investigations using SQL (Oracle, Postgres).

• Maintain and improve monitoring processes to ensure the reliability of our systems and services.

• Develop automation tools and scripts (Python) to increase operational efficiency and reduce manual workload.

• Produce complex data extractions and analyses for business, legal, compliance, and operational teams.

• Participate in internal reconciliations and database integrity controls to ensure data consistency across platforms.

• Monitor critical production processes and proactively identify anomalies.
