Your role: As an intern, you will support the evaluation and development of sorbents and sorbent structures for DAC.
You will gain hands-on experience in lab-based testing, data analysis, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
Lab Assessments: You collaborate within an integrated team to carry out lab-based assessments, including adsorption characterization, accelerated lifetime testing, and process-relevant evaluations of novel materials.

- Education & Experience: You have a bachelor’s degree and/or are working towards a master’s degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, materials science, or similar.
- Technical Skills: You enjoy working hands-on in the lab, and you have some classroom or other experience with any of the following: characterization of porous materials (N₂ adsorption, Hg porosimetry, DVS, etc.), adsorption characterization (breakthrough testing).
Exigences principales
- Education & Experience: You have a bachelor’s degree and/or are working towards a master’s degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, materials science, or similar.
- Technical Skills: You enjoy working hands-on in the lab, and you have some classroom or other experience with any of the following: characterization of porous materials (N₂ adsorption, Hg porosimetry, DVS, etc.), adsorption characterization (breakthrough testing).
- Additional Knowledge: Familiarity with CO₂ capture is beneficial but not required.
- Mindset: You are eager to learn new concepts, skills, and tools that you might need to complete your assignments.
- Working Style: You are reliable, motivated, solution-oriented, concise, and have a structured working style.
- Availability: You are available for a 6-month internship with a start date preferably in October 2026 or shortly thereafter.
- Language Skills: You are fluent in English; knowledge of German or other languages is beneficial but not required.
