- Collaborate with brokers and customers to gather relevant information, negotiate terms and deliver effective underwriting solutions.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market trends, industry developments and regulatory changes.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with brokers and key stakeholders to support retention and portfolio growth.
- Monitor portfolio performance and take appropriate action to ensure underwriting profitability.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, underwriting guidelines and regulatory requirements.

- We are currently seeking an experienced Property & Casualty (P&C) Underwriter to join our experienced and highly successful team of underwriters in Manchester.
- In this role, you will play a key part in managing and developing an existing portfolio of business, ensuring long-term profitability, retention and sustainable growth.
- Working closely with brokers and customers, you'll be responsible for delivering underwriting excellence, identifying opportunities to strengthen relationships and providing tailored solutions that meet our customers' needs.
- As an experienced Existing Business P&C Underwriter, you'll use your underwriting expertise and market knowledge to assess renewal and mid-term business, make sound underwriting decisions and contribute to the continued success of our portfolio.
- Your expertise will help us deliver high-quality insurance products and service while maintaining strong broker partnerships.
