Ability to understand engineering fundamentals and system architecture.

As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you’ll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish.
You’ll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company.
You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers.

Experience in driving organizational change, including the development of new frameworks, processes, and standards for security engineering.
Negotiate and align priorities with executive stakeholders across engineering, product, and research, resolving conflicting goals and driving organizational consensus.
Partner with technical leads to translate high-level security objectives into actionable technical roadmaps and project plans.
Regularly communicate program status, risks, and impact to stakeholders and leadership, fostering transparency and trust.
Monitor program health using data-driven metrics, proactively identifying roadblocks, and driving resolution to ensure adherence to milestones and Service Level Agreements (SLAs)/Service Level Objectives (SLOs).
Identify opportunities to streamline engineering workflows, automate manual tasks, and improve overall operational efficiency.
