Mission & Main duties
Ensure Group coordination of AML Committee (AMLC), ensuring quality of client files, alignment of information across Group entities, follow-up of actions and committee decisions.
Provide Group Compliance position aligned with Compliance Senior Management based on a substantiated argument and a strong risk analysis (risks and mitigating factors) on client cases presented.

- Provide expert guidance to Group entities on cases escalated to Group Compliance.

- Provide expert guidance to Group entities on cases escalated to Group Compliance.
- Lead the team responsible for AMLC preparation, collecting files, reviewing and ensuring alignment to Group standards, requesting updates/additional information from Group entities.
- Formulate Group Compliance’s position in alignment with the Bank’s Risk Appetite, Group Directives, and applicable prohibitions.
- Coordinate the Group-level annual review of PEPs, ensuring that reviews are conducted in accordance with applicable standards, and consolidate the results for presentation to the AML Committee.
- Manage targeted review exercises at the Group level (e.g.
- Top 10) as part of the consolidated supervision.
- Initiate Group investigations when required in coordination with Special Investigation Unit.
- Prepare and present high-stakes case clients to the AMLC and Senior Management
- Ensure timely follow-up of AMLC decisions and actions.

- Establish and maintain strong relationships with top management and key stakeholders within the Bank.
- Ensure a qualitative Media Watch at the Group level
- Centralize and manage EDD providers to ensure quality, consistency, and value-for-money. Core competencies
- Strong experience in AML matters. (min 10-15 years)
- Proven track record in conducting complex KYC/AML reviews and identifying sophisticated financial crime patterns
- Good analytical and communication skills, decision taker is key.
- Leadership skills to manage a small team.
