As Construction Project Manager, you will lead and manage all construction aspects of small to medium-sized building projects. You will ensure the delivery of safe, compliant, sustainable, and innovative property solutions that meet the needs of the business and the many people.
You will
- Take responsibility for the successful delivery of construction projects — from planning through to completion.
- Ensure that safety, compliance, sustainability, and quality requirements are met.
- Implement construction project delivery strategies, methods, and procedures in line with IKEA standards.
- Coordinate internal stakeholders across Real Estate and core business areas, as well as external partners.
- Work closely with authorities, consultants, suppliers, and contractors.
- Secure procurement, contractor management, permits, budgets, and cost follow-up for the project.
You are a structured, communicative, and solution-oriented professional with experience in construction project management. You know how to bring different interests together, prepare clear decisions and move projects forward reliably.
Professional background: University degree in Engineering with at least 4 years of relevant experience, or a minimum of 7 years of related professional experience.
Way of working: Confident in managing budgets, timelines, permits, stakeholders, and external project partners.
Languages: Fluent in German and English
- French would be an advantage.
