In order to support our team in the guest restaurant K2 as well as in the casual restaurant, we are looking for a restaurant specialist who is happy to be active in an international environment and will gladly take on the following main tasks.

Their main tasks

• They welcome, look after and say goodbye to their guests in a professional, courteous way and create a pleasant atmosphere in which our guests feel comfortable through their very good manners and sound expertise.
• They communicate with our international guests in both German and English (company language).
• In addition to the lunch service in our à la carte guest restaurant She independently organizes and performs breakfast, aperos, cocktails and evening events.
• Active participation in apprenticeship training is a matter of course for you.
• Mise en place – working, cleaning and material care.

Working days, hours

• They generally work from Monday to Friday between 8 a.m. and 11 p.m., if possible without a room hour.
• Deviations and bets on weekends are possible, but very rare.
• Your location is primarily Zurich, can also be sporadically at the Rüschlikon location for support.

Swiss Re Gastronomy – Your working environment Corporate Real Estate & Services Zurich (CRES Zurich) is a division of Swiss Re Management Ltd, which is responsible for managing the internal catering and hotel industry. In addition to the joint gastronomy in Zurich, CRES Zurich runs the Guest Restaurant K2 and the Casual Restaurant as well as the conference center with hotel operation Centre for Global Dialogue in Rüschlikon. Under one roof, the Club House on Campus Mythenquai brings together a total of seven efficiently organised gastronomic sub-concepts. On the roof is the dining garden, where Swiss Re Gastronomy grows vegetables, herbs, flowers and salads for immediate use and for durable kiosks and giveaways. The casual restaurant with its 60 seats closes the gap between self-service and served guest restaurant K2. Simple, honest, forward-looking, high-quality and always with a smile. For Switzerland, the basic salary range for this position is between CHF 50,000 and CHF 76,000 (for a full-time position). The specific salary offered takes into account:

• the requirements, scope, complexity and responsibilities of the role;
• the profile of the applicant, including education/qualifications, expertise, specialisation, skills and experience.
