Role overview

The department OST B 1+2 (Cardiology and Cardiac Surgery) is looking for a dedicated and experienced nurse for the function as vocational trainer .

You play a central role in the training of learners and students and actively contribute to the further development and quality assurance of education in our department.

As part of the management team of the department (shared governance), you shape the future of nursing education together with us.

Main responsibilities

  • Development and planning of learning units: Together with the education manager at level 5 or 6, you are responsible for the design, planning and evaluation of practice-oriented learning units
  • Promotion and qualification of learners and students: You support our learners and students through targeted advice, accompany them in their learning process and ensure a high-quality education
  • Conducting interviews and certificates of competence: You conduct interviews for entry, location and internship qualifications and document the learning processes in a structured manner
  • Consulting and supporting the team: You advise and support your colleagues in the care of the apprentices and thus contribute to the professional development of the entire team
  • Quality assurance and further development of education: In close cooperation with those responsible for education, you implement quality assurance measures and actively contribute to the further development of education in the department
  • Professional for educational topics: As a contact person for all questions about education in the department, you ensure the flow of information and actively participate in the discussion of professional and educational policy developments
  • Collaboration in working groups and projects: You participate in various projects and working groups for the further development of the department and the care service
  • Active participation in patient care: You also contribute your professional competence directly to patient care and actively participate in everyday care in order to optimally shape the interaction between training and practice
  • Participation in the LAG: You work actively in the learning and working community (LAG) of the department and support its implementation and further development Requirements
  • Completed training as a Dipl. Nursing professional HF/FH
