• Due to railway operation, damage can occur to rails and switches. As an ultrasound tester: with ultrasound test equipment you check the rails and switches for critical damage.

• You already have experience in non-destructive material testing (e.g. as an ultrasonic tester: with certification at level 1 according to SN EN ISO 9712) or you are interested in familiarizing yourself with the non-destructive testing of rails and switches and achieving certification. • You have the ability to interpret ultrasound test results and have a robust physical condition. (Full years of outdoor work, individual night or weekend assignments may be required, high travel activity, operation of test equipment weighing up to 25 kg in the track area). A correct sense of color is necessary.
• You have very good knowledge of German (C1) and have a category B ticket.

Requirements

• Eine zuverlässige, teamfähige Persönlichkeit mit einem ausgeprägten Verantwortungsbewusstsein und rascher Auffassungsgabe – das bist du.

• Für diese Position benötigst du eine abgeschlossene 3 bis 4 jährige Berufslehre.

• Du hast bereits Erfahrungen in der zerstörungsfreien Materialprüfung (z.B. als Ultraschallprüfer:in mit Zertifizierung auf Stufe 1 gemäss SN EN ISO 9712) oder Du bist interessiert, Dich in die zerstörungsfreie Prüfung von Schienen und Weichen einzuarbeiten und eine Zertifizierung zu erreichen. Dabei unterstützen wir Dich.

• Du besitzt die Fähigkeit zur Interpretation von Ultraschallprüfergebnissen und verfügst über eine robuste körperliche Verfassung. (Ganzjährige Arbeit im Freien, einzelne Nacht- oder Wochenendeinsätze können erforderlich sein, hohe Reisetätigkeit, Bedienung von Prüfgeräten mit bis zu 25 kg Gewicht im Gleisbereich). Ein korrekter Farbsinn ist nötig.

• Du verfügst über sehr gute Deutschkenntnisse (C1) und besitzt einen Fahrausweis Kategorie B.
