Canton of Zurich Education Directorate Office for Youth and Career Advice Social worker/in FH kjz Kloten, temporary 80% Good for life – that is our motto. As part of the Education Directorate of the Canton of Zurich, the Office for Youth and Vocational Advice is responsible for the offers in the field of child and youth welfare as well as in vocational guidance. Our work focuses on children, young people and families. We work for them every day with a lot of heart and commitment. For kjz Kloten we are looking for a social worker (FH 80% temporary until 31 January 2027 or by agreement): December 2027 with option of renewal with the following tasks:
- Conduct of civil child protection measures and investigations on behalf of KESB
- Advice and support for parents, children and adolescents in matters of cohabitation or family conflicts
- Coordination and initiation of support measures
- Networking with other child and youth welfare services For this demanding task we are looking for a committed and resilient personality with:
- University of Applied Sciences degree in Social Work (mandatory)
- Professional experience as a social worker in youth and family welfare and mandate management, ideally already experience from a kjz or from the KESB
- Further education in systemic / solution-oriented consulting is advantageous
- Knowledge of Swiss social insurance
- Mediation and communication skills, good written and oral expression and enjoyment of administrative activities We offer them
