In this role, you are part of the Marine Switzerland business unit in the Transport Insurance team and actively participate in the further development of Zurich Switzerland. As a Senior Underwriter Transportversicherung National, you are responsible for market-oriented risk selection, ensure professional portfolio management and promote modern, future-oriented product development. With your expertise and innovative spirit, you contribute to the strategic orientation of operational underwriting and actively shape the digital transformation in the transport business.

This is what awaits you

• You support and advise national insurance companies as well as their agents and brokers – with a focus on goods transport and traffic liability insurance
• You ensure a market-oriented risk assessment and quality-oriented underwriting – always in accordance with Zurich standards and guidelines
• You carry out active inventory management and implement renewal and renovation processes in a targeted manner
• You participate in the strategic orientation of operational underwriting and drive the continuous optimization of processes and services
• You take part in internal projects and actively shape them with your expertise and practical relevance

This sets you apart

• Commercial education in the insurance sector and specific training as an insurance specialist
• Elective module course Transport insurance is advantageous
• Multi-year relevant experience in the insurance industry, preferably in the national transport insurance business
• Strong experience in sales and customer service
• Very good analytical skills and an independent, structured working method
• Stylistic German and very good English skills
• Other national languages are beneficial
