Full description
Our Department of Surgery has the continuing education status B3 (3 years) for the specialist title Surgery, ACT 2 for the main title General Surgery and Traumatology and V2 for the main title Visceral Surgery. We offer a wide range of services from the specialist surgical disciplines. Our focus is on minimally invasive surgery (laparoscopy and arthroscopy), bariatric surgery and traumatology. As an academic teaching hospital at the University of Zurich, continuous further education and training is of great importance to us. In addition to the head of the department, the team consists of 5 senior doctors, 8 senior doctors and 13 assistant doctors. Become part of this team as of 01.12.2026 or by agreement
Tasks
- Independent performance of a wide range of procedures from general surgery, visceral and traumatological
- Leading your own office hours
- Co-responsibility for the management and training of assistant and sub-assistant doctors
- Responsibility for emergency surgical operation in the night doctor system
- Interdisciplinary cooperation with the other departments of the GZO Requirements
- Specialist title surgery or shortly before graduation
- Negotiable knowledge of German, level C1 or equivalent language practice
- Obvious commitment to continuous further education
