Role overview
As part of PwC Switzerland's Advisory business, the Controlling team supports leaders and engagement teams with financial transparency, performance insights and decision‑relevant analyses.
Working closely with the central finance function, the team plays a key role in financial closing, forecasting, reporting, and strategic initiatives.

Main responsibilities

Company and context
- By combining financial expertise with a strong understanding of the Advisory business, the team contributes directly to steering growth, improving processes and enabling informed, forward‑looking decisions across the organization.
- Support monthly, bi‑annual and annual financial closings in close collaboration with the central finance team, ensuring accurate evaluation of revenue and net billable work in progress.
- Develop, implement and continuously enhance KPI reports and performance analyses to monitor Advisory results and support leadership decision‑making.
- Contribute to forecasting and budgeting processes, strengthening financial planning and business steering.
- Work actively with S/4HANA, Power BI and Excel, contributing to the optimization and further digitalization of the controlling and reporting landscape.
- Drive the development and standardization of controlling and reporting processes within Advisory, with a focus on efficiency and data quality.
- Participate in strategic projects and initiatives, supporting the implementation of Advisory priorities and long‑term objectives.
- Act as a trusted contact for financial topics, representing Advisory Controlling in discussions with partners and the central finance organization.
- University degree in Economics, Finance or a related field, with a focus on Controlling or Finance.
- Several years of professional experience in Controlling or Finance, ideally in a consulting, professional services or similarly dynamic environment.

- Exposure to Power BI is an advantage, and Alteryx knowledge is a plus. Confident communication skills in English;
