Role overview
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES As a Risk and Due Diligence Manager (a), you are responsible for holistic risk and due diligence management in corporate procurement.
You identify, assess, manage and monitor risks along the entire supply chain and develop sustainable approaches to prevention, early detection, response and resilience.
At the same time, you will continuously develop governance and compliance structures to ensure long-term organizational resilience.
- Overall responsibility for the control and further development of end-to-end risk analyzes and assessments along the purchasing portfolio, supplier base and supply chain
- Derivation, prioritization and implementation of risk reduction measures including effectiveness control
- Conception and implementation of integrated processes (prevention, early detection, reaction, resilience) including crisis management
- Establishment and further development of risk and due diligence structures in corporate procurement
- Advising and empowering stakeholders as well as conducting training courses
- Creation of decision-relevant analyzes and management reports as well as further development of methods, standards and tools to strengthen future-oriented risk and due diligence management PROFILE You have a completed degree (engineering, supply chain management or similar) as well as a specialization in supply chain risk management / due diligence.
In addition, you have the following skills: - Several years (6–8 years) of experience in purchasing & supply chain management, incl.
Risk and due diligence management (ideally international) - Sound knowledge of risk and due diligence management along global supply chains as well as confident handling of established risk assessment frameworks (e.g.
Heat Maps / Risk Matrices, Business Continuity Planning (BCP), FMEA, ISO 31000)
- Good knowledge of relevant ESG regulations (including EU CSDDD, CSRD, LkSG, REACH, EUDR)
- Strong analytical, conceptual and structured way of working
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills (including senior management)
- Experience in introducing new governance structures, processes and standards in international corporate environments is an advantage
- Very good knowledge of German and English (C1 each), other languages are an advantage
