- 10+ years of experience in CBTC, rail signalling, or system engineering
- Strong understanding of train control systems, system architecture, and interfaces
- Experience in tendering, pre-sales, or customer-facing technical roles
- Knowledge of railway standards and safety-critical systems
- Structured, solution-oriented mindset with commercial awareness
- Excellent communication and presentation skills in English (German is a plus)
- Willingness to travel internationally TASKS
- Support sales activities for Communications-Based Train Control (CBTC) and Conventional Signalling solutions in international rail projects
- Analyze customer requirements and develop system concepts
- Prepare high-quality technical proposals, specifications, and tender documents
- Act as the technical interface to customers, consultants, and partners
- Contribute to bid strategy, cost estimation, and risk assessment
- Ensure compliance with relevant railway standards
- Support system integration topics and alignment with internal engineering teams
- Monitor market trends and contribute to product and solution positioning
