In an environment with 12 tendering and procurement projects and approx. 50 modernization projects of the rail vehicles we are looking for you as a reinforcement. We create the conditions for planning reliability and availability in railway operations by providing modern, reliable and demand-oriented trains on time for operation. We are also responsible for the documentary and technical maturity of quality in our procurement projects. Become part of a dedicated team and shape the future of railway operations with us! • As operational sub-project manager, you are responsible for achieving the desired quality level of new fleet procurements and modernized vehicles, including their documentation, in the interface between the suppliers, operators and the other SBB internal actors.
• In this challenging project role, you act competently towards the internal and external stakeholders, coordinate the deadlines and are responsible for the flow of information to the various project phases.
• You ensure the maturity of the quality, as well as its development during the course of the project.
• In addition, you proactively support the further development of existing processes, methods and systems in the area of quality assurance and ensure their compliance in the projects. Thus, you contribute significantly to the overall performance of the rolling stock integration area.
• You are regularly on the road throughout Switzerland, on site with the suppliers (in Eastern or Western Switzerland) or at the SBB plants (Olten and Yverdon), if necessary also travel abroad.

• Your analytical and networked thinking helps you with complex and cross-sectoral problems. Working in a matrix organization and in a remote team is an exciting challenge.
• With your confident appearance, your strong communication skills, you also convince critical voices and look for common solutions, which you also understand how to enforce.
• Even in challenging situations, you always keep the calm and keep the overview with a focus on the essentials.
• With your experience in project management, ideally supplemented by an IPMA certification, you are aware of the responsibility as a specialist leader. You integrate effortlessly into organizations and always appear competent and stylish in project teams.
• You will bring technical training at FH/Uni level (e.g. mechanical engineering or comparable) as well as experience in quality management, especially with a focus on developing the quality maturity level.
• In German you are sure to negotiate, knowledge of another national language such as French or Italian is a great advantage.
